Keep the shopfront comfortable
Open doors, big windows and heavy footfall make a shop one of the hardest rooms to keep steady. We specify for glazing gain and door traffic, so customers browse longer on hot days.

What this sector needs
A south-facing shopfront turns the window display into a heater. We size for solar gain and position units so the window area is covered first.
Every customer through the door brings outside air with them. Systems are designed with that load accounted for, plus heating for winter.
Retail installs are usually done overnight or between fit-out phases, with the sales floor clean and ready for opening each morning.
Systems we specify
Even distribution over the sales floor with the unit out of the way of lighting; suitable for most high street units.
Concealed plant with grilles aimed at windows and door zones, keeping the ceiling clean for lighting and signage.
Cooling and heating from one system, so the shop is comfortable in July and January from the same hardware.
Example installations
Typical commercial projects of this size and shape from our work across Devon and the South West.
Two cassettes over the sales floor plus a wall unit in the stockroom and staff area, installed overnight across two nights.
Shop opened on time both mornings with no lost trading.
Compact cassette system with the outdoor unit relocated to a landlord-approved plant area, coordinated with centre management.
Approved, compliant install without disrupting the mall's operating rules.
Ongoing maintenance
Shop systems run from opening until close and collect dust fast. Keeping them clean protects product, air quality and your energy bill.
