Samsung WindFree Technology
Cooling Without the Cold Draught
Samsung WindFree technology gently disperses cool air through thousands of micro-holes in the indoor unit's front panel, creating a comfortable environment without the sensation of direct cold airflow.
The system initially cools the room using conventional airflow, then transitions into WindFree Cooling mode to maintain comfort. WindFree Cooling is a cooling mode — when the system is heating, it uses its normal airflow.

When you switch the system on, it cools the room using conventional airflow, bringing the temperature down quickly.
Then WindFree Cooling mode
Once your room is at temperature, WindFree Cooling takes over — air is dispersed through the micro-hole panel to hold that comfort gently.

Samsung WindFree systems use inverter heat pump technology to provide efficient heating and cooling. A heat pump can deliver multiple units of heating energy for each unit of electricity consumed, depending on the model and seasonal conditions, which is why it compares so well with conventional direct electric heating.
Energy ratings and efficiency figures apply to the exact model and capacity, so ask us for the published SEER and SCOP figures for the size you choose rather than applying one model's figures across the range.

Samsung WindFree air conditioning systems are backed by the applicable Samsung manufacturer warranty, providing protection against qualifying manufacturing defects in accordance with Samsung's warranty terms.
Every Samsung system we fit comes with a 7 year manufacturer warranty. Cover depends on correct installation, product registration and ongoing maintenance, and we register the system for you.
Your installation is also covered by our own workmanship guarantee. Ask us for the details.

We supply, install and commission Samsung WindFree systems ourselves — no shortcuts. Our REFCOM registered, F-Gas certified engineers handle everything from sizing and positioning through to handover, working alongside trusted local subcontract electricians where a job calls for one, and we'll leave you confident using WindFree mode and the SmartThings app.
